The location was close to the train station. I'll give them that.

My room smelled like sewage. It was pretty awful. i asked to change rooms, but the staff said the hotel was fully booked. i ended up just dealing with the stench the whole time

the staff were friendly. my room was near the train station santa lucia, a short walk. the hotel features a restaurant with a view where i could enjoy my meals while watching the canal traffic. i especially liked having easy access to the water taxi stop.

the noise from outside at times was a little distracting, especially early in the morning.

breakfast offered a great variety of options, i ate on the terrace. the restaurant overlooks the canal, and the food was AMAZING!!! it created an very nice atmosphere for a pleasant dining experience, i enjoyed it.

my upgraded room was much bigger than expected, this included useful facilities. the hotel also offers luggage storage, a very helpful service. i appreciated the prompt response to my request to change the bed configuration to a double bed.

the staff helped me store my luggage before check-in. they put my bags in my room later. the location had a perfect convenience, maximum walking distance was 30 minutes.

the restaurant didn't make good food. we choose another restaurants nearby. also, to see the grand canal, you had to stand up at the window. it's not convenient.
